Today was the last day of our visit here in Washington with our family. The time flew by and we had a wonderful time each day better then the last.
Kelly made a great blueberry pancake breakfast and we spent the majority of the day talking. Megan, Kelly and I finished the movie we had started the night before and the guys spent time outdoors when they weren’t making fun of us for crying. The movie My Life as a House was a real girl flick and a real tear-jerker.
We took a short ride to the Marina and walked along the beach and boardwalk. Back home Patrick, Kelly and I made our last big feast together. The meal was delicious as usual. The dessert was even better.
We reviewed all the pictures from the last two days and again chuckled at the funny parts and oohed and aahed at the beauty we had experienced. Sadly, it was time for us to leave. We exchanged lots of big tight hugs and kisses. Kelly will be stopping at the CG for another good-by in the morning. It is hard to leave but we had to head home at some point – I guess.
We’ll be back on the road and only have a loosely fit plan for the trip back. Ron is in no hurry so I’m sure we’ll get to see and do a lot on the trip back.
