Today makes ten weeks we have been on the road. It went by fast yet feels like we left many months ago. It poured here last night – much needed rain for the area.

This morning we headed out to Amazon to have lunch with Kelly at her place of work. Amazon’s current location is at an old hospital in Seattle.IMG_3075 They are in the process of building a new state of the art building that is projected to be ready by April 2010. We met some of Kelly’s co-worker’s (all very nice) and saw the founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, in the cafeteria. After lunch we headed back to Auburn.

Megan drove us home in the Jeep and did a great job on the highway. I-5 is crazy but she handled the traffic like a pro. Good Job Megan!!!!IMG_3076

She took us by the new grammar school that looks like something out of the Jetson’s. Very modern and very brightly painted.IMG_3080

Patrick made us a fabulous Mexican dinner. We feel like we have eaten at a different restaurant every night with the menu variety.IMG_3081

Later Ron and Kelly took Jewel for a walk around the neighborhood and ran into some goats. Ask me not – the neighborhood borders farm land.
